From the final days of steam right up to the present day, the tractor has ruled supreme on the farm. Several manufacturers produced these machines that were used on a variety of tasks from ploughing the land through to driving threshing machines.
In this first volume we look at some of the products produced by six of the worlds major tractor manufacturers, builders that can truly be referred to as 'Tractor Giants'. David Brown, Nuffield, Lanz and Allis Chalmers are all famous names from the past and are seen alongside Case (which still manufacture today). In addition we look at the well known Fordson make, arguably the biggest name of them all.
In total more than 90 different machines are seen in action ploughing or on show at rallyfields around the country as these much loved veterans enjoy a second lease of life in todays world of preservation.
