LIMITED EDITION: Dingles Garrett steam roller and Atkinson Borderer

A 1/50th scale Corgi limited edition model exclusively commissioned by Old Glory and Cheltenham Model Centre.

These superb models depict an interesting period in the history of the well known Cornish contractor R dingle and sons, when it was out with the old and in with new machinery. Production has been strictly limited to just 1,000 certificated models, with the first 500 numbered examples reserved for Old Glory and Heritage Store customers.
Our models represent the early 1970s when the Dingles fleet of steam rollers had long since retired and were to be found stored at the back of the company’s Stoke Climsland depot. Newly acquired Atkinson commercial vehicles, normally utilised in the movement of the modern motor rollers, could be found taking the old steam rollers including our model No. 31295 One and All on their final journeys to the scrapman.
The models are authentically painted for the period. One and All is finished in standard Garrett green which has been heavily weathered befitting an engine lying out of use for some time. The pristine Atkinson Borderer carries the company’s daffodil yellow livery with white roof and black lettering. The trailer is finished in black with black mudguards for the knock out rear axle.
