Summer Sojourn is the third painting in the series Four Seasons in Steam and is published exclusively for Old Glory readers as a collector print. The Aveling & Porter 8 ton, single-cylinder, piston-valve, 4nhp steam road roller No. 10510 of 1923 spent all of its working life with the Eddison Plant Co. as their fleet No. 459, in Dorset. It then languished for many years in a children’s playground at Stamford, Lincolnshire, before being rescued by Old Glory magazine and is destined for full restoration. In this painting, No. 10510 is engaged on a typical patch-up job in the height of a British summer. The council surveyor talks the impending job through with the works foreman.

• Summer Sojourn is limited to just 250 copies (Spring Cleaning 250 copies, Winter Rescue 500 copies), the image size is approx 33cms x 49cms and is perfect for mounting and framing.

• Each individually signed and stamped copy is printed on top quality 300gsm, acid free, fine art paper.

• Artist David Waller is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild and is based in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.

• Copies are despatched in sturdy card tubes.
